Company Expands Distribution of Its First Product Globally;
Additional Distribution Channels Planned for Other Products
Woodland Hills, CA - July 26, 2005 - SPO Medical Inc. (SPOM.PK), a leading developer of biosensor and microprocessor technologies for use in portable monitoring devices, today announced that it has now established several master resellers to distribute the PulseOx5500TM beyond the US market.
The PulseOx 5500TM is the first spot-check finger monitor using Reflective Pulse Oximetry (RPO) to measure oxygen saturation and heart rate. Using SPO Medical patented technology, which has received CE certification, it is suitable for various medical care applications in hospitals, ambulatory care centers, emergency care situations, medically supervised health care facilities and homecare. Compared to competitive devices on the market, the PulseOx5500TM is less expensive to acquire and operate, as it uses only a fraction of the power of other devices; indeed, its battery can last an average of 1,000 hours. Moreover, the PulseOx 5500TM has a surprisingly high resistance to many forms of motion and comes with a one year warranty and round-the-clock user support.
The company has several licensed master resellers in the United States including Turner Medical, Securenet Medical, and Precise Marketing. In Europe, SPO Medical now has resellers in several key markets including the UK, Germany, Spain, Greece and Israel.

Check MateTM answers the expanding wellness and sports markets' demand for a lightweight, inexpensive monitor for measuring heart rate and oxygen saturation. Using SPO Medical's patented reflectance pulse oximetry technology, it allows athletes to effectively monitor their reactions to sporting activities like mountain climbing, high-altitude street cycling, and even light jogging or running. In addition, aviators can use the Check MateTM as an effective tool to check for in-flight hypoxia.
